Mit der Mosaic-Expedition ist die größte Arktis-Mission aller Zeiten beendet. Die Forscher dokumentierten die gravierenden Folgen des Klimawandels - mitten im Polarmeer, wo die Wintertemperaturen drastisch angestiegen sind.

The German Research Vessel Polarstern has sailed back into its home port after completing a remarkable expedition to the Arctic Ocean.

US scientists say the world is heading towards a "seasonally ice-free Arctic Ocean." Germany's research ship Polarstern is on its way home after even reaching the North Pole through open water patches.
