My tasks on MOSAiC
PI within the EcoTeam, group leader of the Eco Team on leg 2; looking after the AWI contribution to nutrients, DIC and dissolved oxygen measurements, and the science behind these measurements. Additionally, helping my colleagues who are experts in other fields, in order to achieve the wider goals of the Eco Team and MOSAiC as a whole.
I am most excited about
When the question of "Who's up for going in winter time?" was asked, I jumped off my chair and said "I am". The lack of data in winter time represents a major gap in my field of research (and others), I'm very excited to be there in the middle of winter gathering the data myself
