My tasks on MOSAiC
As part of the atmosphere science group, I will be deploying gas flux chambers on the sea ice, and monitoring measurements being taken from instrument towers on the ship and ice camp above the ice.
My biggest challenge
The scope of what we're trying to accomplish and the remote and harsh conditions will surely afford major challenges, but that's part of the appeal.
I am most excited about
I'm excited to be involved in this large collaboration and work with so many other scientists. We've built several new instruments and are attempting measurements very few research groups have done previously.
