Sea ice physics research, sea ice team leader in the leg 1.
I am most excited about
I'm really excited on collaborating with top polar scientists both onboard the Polarstern and later when analysing the data. It will be also super interesting to observe evolution of pack ice from initial rather uniform conditions to spatially highly variable 'mosaic' of different ice types.
