My tasks on MOSAiC
I will be working for the trace gas flux project with measurements on board and on the sea ice and helping with the sampling of snow, sea ice, and sea water.
I am most excited about
I’m excited to get so close to the North Pole and I’m really looking forward to experience the polar sunrise over the Arctic Ocean. I don’t think I will ever have the chance to return to this unique location. The meteorological conditions may be more extreme than on any of my previous polar trips and may be challenging, but I feel well prepared for that.
