I am mainly responsible for operating the Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) of the AWI and setting up and maintaining radiation stations.
I am most excited about
I am always very excited to drive the ROV. At the same time I will be a little tense because of possible instrument, pilot, and floe failure. I expect that floe break-up and navigation on the floe could be major challenges.
